Update: The restaurant's chef is no longer Thomas Andersen and is now in a new course attempting to retrieve its lost Michelin star.
Located in one of the oldest buildings in Copenhagen, Kong Hans Kaelder, a Medieval R&C establishment, encloses one of the gems of the city, named after a king.
Kong Hans is not following any trends, rather it makes the rules. Fresh ingredients, no sugars or nasty flours and all that staff that are not good for you, but yet old school fine cuisine. Chef Thomas Rode Andersen prepares his dishes in a very healthy manner.
On the day of the visit, the menu was well thought out, balanced, creative and had the warmth of elegant, fine cuisine...
