So, I lived to eat at NOMA which was the most exciting, anticipated adventure of my life. Had a crew of twelve assisting in the reservation process and one member of my team managed to beat the other 20,000 candidates on the online reservation system for a lunch at Noma. Three and a half months later I realized the following: Noma is a legend.
Located in an old salt warehouse on the waterfront in Christianshavn, it's fun, adventurous and surprising. Its interior is informal with no table cloths on the tables but there was a real fur for decoration on some of the chairs.
Since a lot of the presentations are purposely done to imitate nature, the food confuses guests with its realistic-ness. It's an interesting adventure that keeps you alert and guessing what it is exactly that you are eating. It is also engaging as you even get to cook your own egg.
You also eat "mud", "dirt", "shells" and alive baby shrimp...
