"Ultra modern building housing an equally modern exhibition."

Named after a former president, the ultra-modern building Centre Georges Pompidou dates back to 1977 and houses an equally modern exhibition. Its striking exterior appears high tech and unfinished with references to bones and blood vessels!

Centre Georges Pompidou houses a public library and the prestigious Musée National d'Art Moderne, a world class modern museum and one of the largest in Europe.

There is also the option of going up in the roof for some wonderful views of the area.

The surrounding neighborhood is also interesting to explore.
