One of the most refined and expensive experiences in the world, the stared Pierre Gagnaire restaurant does its name justice. Everything about the experience was sheer perfection. From the immaculate service, to the artistic presentation and of course the impeccable taste, was mind blowing. This is as good as it gets.
Words may not help one understand more about Pierre Cagnaire but thinking of it as culinary royalty is appropriate. The epitome of fine food. And get ready to pay for it. A lot.
There are some less expensive options such as the lunch special, which on the day of the visit was veal and 5 small appetizers for around €80, but even with that option and some wine, you will pay at least €130 each. If you go for the seasonal menu, it was €290, or if you want you could order its short version (3 predetermined dishes from it) for €190. There was also the hunting menu and the a la carte, with items costing around €160 for each item...
