The flamboyant Gothic structure Westminster Abbey is one of the most famous churches in England (not to say the most famous one).
Westminster Abbey is the cathedral where British monarchy members get crowned, married and buried. It dates back to the 13th century, when Henry III begun its construction. Its treasury houses a significant amount of artwork, artifacts, and books.
There is a hefty entrance fee but you can also get in with the London Pass.
Also keep in mind that no cameras are allowed inside.
