The emblematic tower of Parliament is of course quintessential London, a must for every visiting tourist. The nickname Big Ben, actually refers to the bell itself (not the clock or the structure), which is not visible from the outside but can be heard when it strikes every hour.
A tour inside Big Ben is only available for UK residents. Too bad for the rest of the world, because the views up there must be amazing.
As expected, the area is heavily crowded.
Make the most of this day by visiting the adjacent Houses of Parliament and the nearby Westminster Abbey.
