The hop-on, hop-off tour buses are a worldwide phenomenon and there is good reason behind it. They are the easiest way to tour a city and visit the major sights. Find their drop spots and get on board.

There are a few city tour buses in Rome. All of them have similar routes, and you can pre-book your ticket online. Among those companies, there is the Roma Cristiana tours and the City Sight Seeing Hop-on Hop-off tour buses.

Just keep in mind that during the hot months of the summer, you need water, a hat, and an umbrella to survive up there. And put a lot of sunscreen all over your exposed skin, otherwise you will end up with red arms.
