A residential project by the famous Gaudi, Casa Milà or La Pedrera as it is known, is a Gaudi masterpiece, dating back in 1906. Showcasing an undulating stone facade and iron decoration on the balconies and windows, it is considered groundbreaking not only aisthetically, but mechanicly wise, because of the facade, self-standing steel structure.
Nowadays, this Unesco World Heritage site, hosts exhibitions and activities and is open for tourists for visits to the interior and the incredible roof (open only on non-rainy days). If you don't want to stand in line and wait for tickets, go on line and pre-order them (around 15 euro).
