Casa Batlló is another Gaudi landmark. Dating back a century, Gaudi's masterpiece is a playful interpretation of urban living. Its local name is translated as House of Bones, which is not a surprise when you look at the skeletal organic shapes of its exterior design.
Considered by many the epitome of Modernisme and Art Nouveau architecture, the sight attracts tourists like a magnet. The incracite facades, mosaics, and flowing sculptures are typical of the Gaudi phenomenon.
