"Cable car for bird's eye views of the Rhine, the Altstadt and Cologne."

Cologne Cable Car (Rheinseilbahn), Europe's first cable car over a river, is now 56 years old. You can get on this chairlift from the Cologne zoo and get a bird's eye view of the Rhine river, the Altstadt (historical city centre within the city wall) and the city of Cologne. Getting off at the U-Bahn station maybe also be a good idea for convenience.
