"Built relatively recently, in 1857."

Although the Protestant Cathedral of St Peter is Geneva's prime church, la Basilique de Notre Dame is the major Catholic Cathedral. Located on Place Cornavin, north of the River Rhône, near Gare Cornavin the Gothic style building was built relatively recently, in 1857.
