Fountains
"Hundreds of people try to squeeze themselves on this flamboyant fountain."

The location in front of the Spanish steps is ideal for photography. Hundreds of people try to squeeze themselves on this flamboyant Baroque fountain. Fontana della Barcaccia has the appearance of a Venetian gondola and that is how it got its name.

Pietro Bernini and his son worked on the Fontana della Barcaccia in 1627 and the reason that this boat sits in the square is because it refers to Tiber river's over flooding and leaving boats stranded on the square.
