"When most people hear about the city of Arles they think of Van Gogh."

When most people hear about the city of Arles they think of Van Gogh. Even though a city can not be defined by an artist resident, it is true. His spirit is everywhere, evident in spots he painted, art galleries and museums throughout town. Located on the Rhone river in Southern part, the old city has more than 2,000 years of history. It is an inspiring picturesque town with lots of tourists, coffee shops and restaurants.
