Breathtaking views
"Second tallest hill with fab views over the whole city, for some cool pics."

Gianicolo (Janiculum) is Rome's second tallest hill, second only to Monte Mario, situated on the west side of Tiber River. As expected, it is a fab view point of the whole city, for some wonderful pictures.

Onsite there is a Baroque fountain, the Fontana dell' Acqua Paola as well as various educational institutions.

You can reach Gianicolo (Janiculum) through the area of Trastevere or through St. Peter's square, towards the eponymous underground station, up the parking garage (try to locate the road up the hill).
