A chef from Alcace conquers Manhattan. This would be a suitable title for an article written on the culinary adventures of Gabriel Kreuther.
His restaurant enjoys a prime, central location in Manhattan with a spectacular space for both guests and kitchen. The restaurant counts only a couple of years of operation and it currently holds one Michelin star. It should have more. At least another one.
On the day of the visit, we had a fairly priced preset menu, which included foie, pork and a few other interesting dishes. Presentation was impeccable and so was taste! The attention to detail was spectacular! A thing of beauty to watch and eat!
Service was attentive, with the professionalism suitable for this level of a fine establishment.
The chef was traveling for the Bocuse d' Or awards and we missed the opportunity to meet him.
