The Scran and Scallie is a gastropub, associated to the talented Scottish chef Tom Kitchin. You would expect that anything Tom touches, to turn into gold. Not just because of the name though. Rather because of the value and the quality of his work. It is not a surprise then that when Tom teamed up with another Michelin chef, they created the quintessential Gastropub in his home town.
Located approximately 5 minutes from the Edinburgh center in a quite neighborhood, the double store is very cozy and warm. Large dark wooden panels on the floor, stone beams, distressed furnishings and rustic walls, set the ambience to welcoming tones.
Following Tom's trademark moto ‘From Nature to Plate’, food at Scran & Scallie is about fresh, modern dishes alongside some forgotten classics.
