"Situated on a unique location on top of the glamorous Portofino harbor."

Situated on a unique location across the glamorous Portofino harbor, Castello Brown enjoys the best seat in the house. It is on top of the mountain and it is quite a workout to get there. Even if you don't go inside this house museum, getting there provides a good chance for some panoramic pics of the harbor, as you walk through a green path with pine trees and the sea water sets the background coming through the leaves.

A castle is built with the purpose of protecting the area and so did Castello Brown, up until the 18^th century. Then it started changing hands, until it ended up in the hands of the City of Portofino.
