Fountains

"The fountain of hot water has a strange moss surface on top."

There are a few fountains in the tourist avenue Cours Mirabeau and this one dates back to the early 18^th century.

The name Fontaine d’eau Chaude literary means the fountain of the hot water because of the hot water from Bagniers that is running there.

It must be quite a sight in the cold winter. The upper part is covered in moss, which has taken shaped forms.
