Built for the World Fair in Brussels in 1958, the shiny Atomium attracts tourists like a magnet.
Go for the views on the upper sphere, but don't expect much from its content. And it might be too hot up there in the Summer. Walking stairs and escalators are used to access all areas and there is a light show as you exit through the escalator.
Needless to say that if you are claustrophobic, or get dizzy easily, stay away.
Given its age and its size, the Brussels Atomium is worth a visit, at least from the outside. Entry fee is around €10.
