Cozy & traditional, this little place is a must if you are in the area. Restaurant Auberge de la Veveyse has a wonderful rustic feel, unpretentiously rustic yet still elegant and posh at the same time. Loved every minute of it!
The restaurant offers a surprise menu, offering the options of 1, 2, 3, or 4 entries, plus desserts and cheese.
Fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection, with interesting combinations of flavors. Presentation is detailed and service is genuinely fantastic!
The owner who is also the waitress has the kindest manner that makes guests feel sincerely welcomed.
Plus, a side note, it was hard to get there at night as the GPS was having a field day with this mountain spot. To cut a long story short, find the Blonay roundabout, go towards Blonay and then find a new roundabout and go towards Route de Chatel St Denis. 4 km later you found it...
