The Zillers is located in the city center, on the third floor of a small building and has a back view of the Parthenon.
On the night of the visit, a March 23 dinner service, the tiny restaurant was full. We opted for the big degustation menu, priced at €95.
The dishes were all professionally prepared and suitable for this level of fine dining. Almost everything was spot on. The ingredients were as fresh as they get, the techniques were all there, and the food had intriguing depth of flavour. Some fine tuning in regards to the menu... the broth in the langustine tartar was unnecessary, the pasta in the lobster was too much for the refined menu and the chickpea bread could have been served at the beginning with the rest of the bread selection.
The well deserved star was priced quite low for what it included which was lobster, pigeon, and truffle in some of the dishes...
