White subway tiles and rustic wood, spreading into a bar area and a second floor, De Juwelier has a relaxed, cozy vibe, an ideal setting for a fun outing with friends.
Its menu means business! Go big or go home kind of business. Crab, caviar, bone marrow, foie gras... dishes that are celebrating the essence of old school, French classics in a modern, casual way.
On the night of the visit, a fully packed Monday night, we had the crab with caviar and eel gel priced at €50 and worth every cent, the oysters with champagne beure blanc, the foie, the creamiest bone marrow with mushrooms, and to finish it all, lamb and sweetbreads. Food not intented for the fainted hearted considering the Green trends around Northern European cuisines.
The food served at De Juwelier has depth of flavour, it is made with the finest ingredients, and has the richest textures. And the crowds are cheering for it judging from the full house.
