Contra is a trendy Michelin establishment in lower Manhattan, which features a short yet adventures menu. On the day of the visit, we had scallops, crab, white fish and duck. The high point was the duck which was superb. The low was the crab because it was oddly combined with a warm, creamy sauce.
Service was very attentive and the menu was reasonably priced at $74 which made this a high value meal in Manhattan.
