If you heard about Takashi and you want to visit it, you have 2 options. You can either gather a few friends and make a reservation for at least 4 people, or you can wait outside before opening time to grab one of the few spots available for walk ins (1-3 people). We waited for half an hour before opening time and there were 8 of us by opening time.
The popular Korean spot is located in lower Manhattan and it features little personal grills were you get to cook your own food! On the day of the visit, the Takashi food was amazing. Even if we cooked most of it ourselves! Not for its 'fine' presentation, but for its taste. We had Kobe, some of the worlds most expensive beef priced under $30. We also tried everything in the menu with the words foie and marrow, and brain creme in a tube! The quality of the food was unsurpassed! As fresh as it gets.
Service was fast and friendly.
