A prominent luxury hotel houses the 2 star restaurant, Piccolo Principe. Which means affluent tourists visiting the Italian Riviera hotspot of Viaregio are its clients. Which explains the prices.
On the day of the visit we tried the a la card menu: fish, foie, tongue, lobster were among our choices. Blue lobster was rubbery, and the pasta or squid (?) in one of the dishes had a strange texture. The rest of the dishes were ok. The degustation was very heavily priced.
It took a while to get served probably because it was a busy night.
