Baglioni Relais Santa Croce is one of the luxury options for accomodation in the highly touristic area of Florence. For around €450 thats what you get (in August). If you want more, a €1,000 more, there’s the Four Seasons.
On the day of the visit we were given a very spacious room, clean and comfy but without any Italian character. The common areas were more traditionally decorated however.
Its location is quite convenient, within walking distance of all central things to do in Florence.
Service was good at the reception but during breakfast we were fetching our forks and knives by our selves.
